another will have the ability to freeze and the third will receive the power of premonition. Together they make the Power of Three. After further reading the Book,
the sisters learn that while their powers were in “slumber”, they were safe but that once the power of three is released, evil will come looking for them.
After fighting demons and warlocks, who’s goals are to steal their powers and kill them, for three long years, the worst happens.
A demon named Shax succeeds in killing one of the sisters. Prue Halliwell loses her life.
The devastating loss of their oldest sister, proves Piper and Phoebe vulnerable and lonely. Without having a change to grieve, the remaining sisters learn of another sister, Paige, who was given up for adoption at birth. When these sisters reunite the power of three is reconstituted and the war against evil is reborn.
